Generalized Anxiety Disorder is categorized as psychiatry neurosis. Until today, there are no dominant factors that have been identified in influencing this disease to occur among university students. Problems in education, family, social and many others are some of the issues which result continous anxiety to these university students. This also gives negative psychological and physical effects. Although the treatment from the West manages to cure this illness, this gives negative side effects. From the Islamic point of view, anxiety disorder is seen as a spiritual disease. There is no specific treatment in curing this disease. However, with the practice of Qur’anic verses, Sunnah and also the practice of various ulama’ in the past, this illness can be coped through Islamic psychotherapy, which is one of the alternatives or complimentary ways to the existing treatment. The study uses the qualitative and quantitative research methods. The findings show that intervention through Islamic psychotherapy method gives positive reactions and this helps to reduce Generalized Anxiety Disorder among the university students
Abstract-Emotional management is the ability to maintain control when situation, people and events make excessive demands. This ability is an important mechanism for the civil servants to acknowledge emotions and recognizing coping strategies. The purpose of this study is to identify how the civil servant dealing in the emotional management at work place. This includes developing an effective model to manage emotional level at work place. The participants were 120 civil servants randomly selected from the eleven government's departments in Seberang Perai Tengah. The study adopts a quantitative method. The result indicated that the "Doa" (invocation-is an act of supplication) is the prime method in managing emotions. Another way to manage emotions is to be patient and willing to endure towards any problems encounter. These two positive actions enable to buffer the negative effects of emotional level on civil servants.
Innovation in teaching and learning (TL) aims to improve the effectiveness of the delivery of knowledge. The impact of effective innovation is a teaching method that looks more interesting with higher acceptance among students. Infiniti Cergas Sihat (InCeS) is a teaching aid that contributes to the development of current TL innovation. Attractive color design and interactive method of playing make this innovation easy for students to accept. This study aims to see the effectiveness of InCeS on TL for students and the focus of this study is on special needs students. A total of 40 special needs students from a school in Pulau Pinang have participated in the program involving the InCeS application in TL. Results from the questionnaire given to the teachers involved during the activities show that the students showed interest in the activities that used InCeS. The teacher's participation in the activity also contributes to the interaction in learning for the special needs students.
Digital games are nothing new to today's youth. The education system is no exception, as it also employs digital education games (DEG) in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this narrative review is to demonstrate the impact of DEG on learning for undergraduate students, to explain the role of DEG for undergraduate students and to describe strategies for minimizing obstacles associated with DEG implementation. The narrative review procedure involves selecting journals related to educational digital games. Three keywords have been used to search the relevant articles: "digital educational games", "learning" and "undergraduate students". The result shows that DEG contributes to critical factors influencing students' learning attitudes and educational intentions. It also aids in the formation of environmentally conscious attitudes and behaviors in students. DEG has the advantage of being active, practical and problem-based, as well as providing immediate feedback.
Senaman merupakan satu aktiviti yang memberi manfaat bukan sahaja kepada kesihatan fizikal, malah kesihatan mental juga. Berlari, berjalan, mendaki gunung, berbasikal, aerobik dan berenang adalah antara senaman yang boleh diamalkan dalam kehidupan seharian untuk terus kekal aktif dan cergas. Namun kini, kita tidak lagi bebas untuk melakukan kebanyakan aktiviti luar rumah disebabkan ancaman wabak coronavirus (COVID-19) yang menyebabkan perintah kawalan pergerakan (PKP) dikenakan. Keadaan sebegini boleh menjejaskan kualiti kesihatan diri kita. Infiniti Cergas Sihat (InCeS) merupakan satu inovasi permainan iaitu aktiviti senaman ringan digabungkan dan disusun seperti permainan berpapan yang menarik. InCeS direka sebagai permainan unik yang melibatkan aktiviti gerakan senaman ringan dalam suasana yang menarik dan menyeronokkan untuk dimain dalam kumpulan kecil mahupun besar. InCeS boleh dimain di dalam rumah ataupun di luar rumah. Permainan InCeS ini bukan sahaja melibatkan pergerakan fizikal, malah permainan ini turut menerapkan kemahiran intelektual seperti aktiviti jual beli, sewa, gadaian petak dan penentuan keputusan. Permainan InCeS ini juga direka untuk semua peringkat umur, termasuklah dewasa mahupun kanak-kanak. Memandangkan InCeS merupakan satu permainan inovasi, maka ianya boleh diaplikasikan atau diguna pakai sebagai permainan berpapan semasa sesi pembelajaran, dari peringkat pendidikan awal seperti taska hinggalah pusat pengajian tinggi. InCeS juga boleh digunakan sebagai aktiviti dalam rumah bersama ahli keluarga terutama ketika PKP. Satu soal selidik mengenai InCeS telah dijalankan dikalangan pelajar pendidikan khas. Keputusannya, mendapati InCeS dapat membantu para pelajar untuk lebih berminat belajar sambil bermain dengan cara yang lebih menarik.
