in 2020, the 25 th anniversary of the Committee of the regions-the representative body of the Eu's local and regional authorities is celebrated. its main goal is to represent the interests of local government at the level of this international organization, to increase the democratic mandate of the Eu, as well as to increase the transparency of public debate between European institutions. a quarter of a century is a good time to try to evaluate the actions taken by this Eu body. The purpose of this article is to conduct a legal analysis of the evolution of Eu primary law in its functioning, to summarize that functioning, as well as its impact on the Eu legislative process. The article will also present a proposal for its development in coming years .
insufficient participation of young people is a major problem occurring in the field of administrative law . This article is devoted to the analysis of national and international legal regulations in the field of youth participation in public life .The basic assumption of the analysis is that the youth has great potential, which is not used . Given the right opportunities and tools, young people are able to diversify and raise public discussion on the functioning of the city and the region . But the activity of young people in local and regional life depends on the commitment of local authorities to provide appropriate instruments to enable them to take action . if young people have the right tools and enjoy the appropriate conditions for getting involved, they are able to realize a number of innovative projects noticeable even abroad . at a time when young people have a sense of real possibility to change their immediate environment, they are getting even more involved in the public life of their region .
The COVID-19 pandemic has become one of the greatest global challenges of recent years. It forced the governments of many countries to introduce new and unique legal instruments, whose main objective was to prevent, counteract and combat the infectious disease caused by a novel coronavirus. One of these instruments was the possibility to limit the functioning of public administration offices. This accelerated the design and implementation of solutions which, on the one hand, ensured the safety and health protection of employees of public offices and, on the other hand, allowed the continuation of public tasks. The subject of the article is the analysis of Polish legal solutions concerning the possibility of remote work in connection with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the study is to show that the coronavirus pandemic forced the Polish legislator to introduce new instruments into the legal order regarding the organisation and functioning of the state administrative apparatus. One of them was the possibility of remote work, i.e. work that is carried out away from the place of its permanent performance.
