Este estudo visa investigar os processos de reconhecimento da identidade gay numa capital brasileira com base em entrevistas narrativas com quatro participantes entre 21 e 42 anos. As entrevistas foram analisadas conforme a teoria da interpretação e da narratividade de Ricoeur. Os relatos mostram que a “saída do armário” possui algumas similitudes, como as primeiras percepções de “ser diferente” na infância e a elaboração da identidade sexual a partir da adolescência. Entretanto, as muitas singularidades indicam que as trajetórias para “sair do armário” consistem em processos de reconhecimento subjetivo e intersubjetivo, os quais dependem de fatores contextuais para produzir bem-estar ou sofrimento psíquico.
O presente artigo tem a finalidade de apresentar, através de uma abordagem historiográfica, alguns aspectos de suma relevância sobre a Inquisição Medieval. Para isso se propõe contextualizar o cenário que deu origem e desenvolvimento a este acontecimento histórico, quer dizer, a situação sócio-político-religiosa que provocou a Inquisição. Tal análise procura penetrar no interior dos problemas que originaram e agitaram a ação do Estado e da Igreja. Nesta perspectiva, apresenta a heresia, a bruxaria e todo percurso realizado durante o processo penal, até mesmo as punições e condenações, e os principais países que mais vivenciaram este período histórico.

A pesquisa qualitativa em Psicologia continua a se desenvolver a partir de diversos pressupostos filosóficos, que colaboram para sua riqueza e pluralidade. O intuito deste artigo é apontar algumas contribuições teóricas e metodológicas do filósofo francês Paul Ricoeur para esse tipo de pesquisa. Percorre-se a vasta obra deste autor – que ganhou fama a partir de uma interpretação original de Freud – a fim de destacar os aspectos mais significativos sobre o tema. Conclui-se que o aporte ricoeuriano confere três notas essenciais à pesquisa qualitativa: a nota fenomenológica, porque visa à descrição das experiências tal como são vividas pelos participantes; a nota hermenêutica, posto que busca o sentido dessas experiências em suas expressões simbólicas, interpretadas mediante sucessivos círculos de interpretação; e a nota narrativa, porquanto entende as histórias de vida como descoberta e construção da subjetividade. Essas notas coadunam e corroboram com tradições qualitativas já em uso, mostrando-se de grande valia, especialmente para a pesquisa em Psicologia.
Este artigo pretende apresentar uma reflexão sobre as eticidades operantes nas pesquisas em Psicologia da Saúde e os efeitos ou modelos de mundo que deles decorrem. Em primeiro lugar, faz-se uma diferenciação entre os pressupostos de eticidade presente nas práticas de pesquisa com inspiração nas Ciências Naturais e, posteriormente, sobre uma proposta de prática ética-fenomenológica do Sul. Para tanto, constrói-se uma reflexão teórica, bibliográfica e transversal. Como resultados, é possível destacar: (i) o abandono do modelo lógico-formal das Ciências da Natureza e a distinção entre o horizontes de operação delas em relação ao das Ciências Humanas; (ii) a delimitação do ego não como fundamento, mas sim como uma posição e um exercício de poder; (iii) a proposta de se pensar o espaço de pesquisa ético como um locus implicativo e vital marcado por influências e decisões de caráter político, social e cultural; (iv) a possibilidade de proposição de um modelo de eticidade inclusivo.
