Resumo: O Brasil possui destaque mundial na produção de grãos, cultura que está bastante difundida no agronegócio nacional, contudo, muitas sãos as problemáticas que afetam o desempenho da cultura, o surgimento de plantas daninhas na área pode gerar danos severos ao desenvolvimento da cultura, seu entendimento é de fundamental importância para a escolha da melhor técnica de controle. A fitossociologia das plantas presentes na área vem se mostrado uma alternativa viável para o entendimento das espécies, a partir desse levantamento. Outra forma acessível para o manejo mais eficiente, é a escolha do sistema de plantio dentre as diversas opções as que mais se destacam são as de plantio direto e convencional que estão altamente difundias na agricultura nacional. A partir de um levantamento visando conhecer e identificar as plantas invasoras em plantio direto e convencional, buscouse avaliar efeitos em caracteres biométricos das plantas de milho. Dentre os sistemas, o plantio direto demonstrou maior eficiência tanto a melhorias de respostas fisiológicas quanto ao controle de plantas invasoras, apresentando um total de 73 plantas, um valor menor quando comparado ao plantio convencional que apresentou um total de 89 espécies. Dentre os dois sistemas, o maior número de plantas encontradas foi do gênero Cyperus. O plantio direto demonstrou ser mais eficiente quanto a produtividade em relação ao sistema convencional, devido aos benefícios que o sistema proporcionou a planta, visto que a análise fitossociológica de plantas daninhas o sistema de plantio direto teve uma população menor em relação ao sistema de plantio convencional.
