This systematic review research has two objectives: (a) to identify Green Marketing (GM) practices related to the key variables of consumer purchasing behavior, and (b) to present a model for the generation of sustainable value by companies based on the results found. The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) statement process was followed and Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) sources were used for the document search. A total of 248 documents were found (Scopus = 110; WoS = 138), and the final selection was 34 papers. The GM practices found were placed in five categories: (a) Green products and services; (b) Green business image; (c) Green advertising; (d) Green purchasing experience; (e) Green marketing mix. The key variables of purchasing behavior that were found are: Environmental awareness, Green satisfaction, Green attitude, Green purchasing intention, Green purchasing preference, Word of mouth, Perceived value, Green experiential value, Responsible consumption, Green engagement, Green trust, Green loyalty, and Green purchasing decision. Finally, a sustainable value generation model called “Green consumption cycle for sustainable value” was presented.
Changes in consumer behavior are driven by tastes and preferences that change over time as their socioeconomic conditions change. The objective of this study was to validate the psychometric characteristics of the e-RetailTest scale, created to measure consumer attitudes towards online shopping in developing countries, particularly in the Peruvian market. The e-RetailTest evaluates five variables present in the online purchase process: (a) quality of web design, (b) risk when making a purchase, (c) customer service, (d) security and (e) satisfaction, with a total of twenty items using a Likert scale. A total of 422 valid responses were collected from Peruvian consumers who had had online shopping experience in the retail sector. Statistically, we worked with the AFE exploratory factor analysis and the AFC confirmatory factor analysis. The results suggest that this first version of the e-RetailTest presents adequate psychometric evidence to measure the attitude of consumers towards online purchases in the retail sector in the Peruvian market. Thus, it seeks to contribute to the advancement of the study of these important variables of Latin American consumer behavior.
Currently, ICT has allowed the emergence of various digital tools that facilitate the research process. Given this, universities must assume the transfer of capabilities for their adequate use in this area. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to perform an analysis of the information management capacity for research in Peruvian engineering students based on three capabilities: search, selection, and processing. In the sample of 310 students, the results show a medium-level prevalence with an average of 69.4% in the three skills. This implies that universities and research centers should implement systems to accompany students in the development of strategies and procedures for them to carry out research efficiently.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
