A educação empreendedora tem despertado, cada vez mais, o interesse das Instituições de ensino e do meio empresarial, visto que é considerada uma iniciativa essencial para o desenvolvimento econômico e social de uma localidade. Acredita-se que o aluno exposto a estímulos empreeendedores tende a adotar tais posturas quando adentram no ambiente de trabalho. Em vista disso, este artigo tem como objetivo verificar o perfil empreendedor dos alunos do terceiro ano do ensino médio, bem como avaliar o comportamento destes alunos quando estimulados a posturas empreendedoras. A escolha desta amostra deve-se ao fato, de que estes alunos estarão, em breve, no mercado de trabalho, sendo necessário assim, reconhecer e desenvolver estas características. Quanto ao método utilizado, a pesquisa caracteriza-se como participante de abordagem quantitativa, sendo que os dados foram analisados por métodos estatísticos. Verificou-se que a maior média dentre as variáveis analisadas, situou-se no indicador relacionado à questão que aborda a persistência, enquanto que, a menor refere-se a aspectos de liderança. Por fim, observa-se que o ensino do empreendedorismo pode ser altamente contributivo para os alunos e para a comunidade, já que se fundamenta na construção do bem-estar coletivo. Para a Universidade, no entanto, possibilita a integração com a comunidade, além de desenvolver o tripé que lhe sustenta: ensino, pesquisa e extensão.
