Este artigo apresenta uma proposta metodológica de aquisição de polígonos 3D georreferenciados a partir da classificação e do tratamento de nuvens de pontos LiDAR de uma área da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. O fatiamento do Modelo Digital de Elevação (MDE), a reclassificação, as ferramentas da Morfologia Matemática e a rotulação de componentes conexas foram utilizados na geração da máscara binária que representa onde existe (1) ou não (0) edificação. A intersecção entre a máscara binária e a nuvem de pontos terá como resultado um arquivo vetorial de pontos com coordenadas x, y e z referentes às edificações da área de estudo.
Este trabalho apresenta uma metodologia para o mapeamento de áreas de risco de inundação usando Modelo Digital de Elevação obtido com LiDAR (Ligth Detection and Ranging), imagem RAPIDEYE, mapas de setores censitários do Censo 2010 do IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística), e operação de álgebra de mapas. A partir da edição do MDE-LiDAR foram calculadas curvas de nível de cotas simuladas e lâminas de inundação para 140 m, 150 m, 160 m, e para 210 m; sendo realizada a intersecção de mapas entre estas curvas de nível e os setores censitários do IBGE. A equação CR=Ar/At foi utilizada para cálculo de risco, onde Ar é a área de risco e At a área total do setor censitário.
