This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the third module -Learning to Help and Cooperate-of the Programme for Developing Competent Social Relationships in Primary Education (Trianes, 2012) on a set of self-report variables (class social climate, school social climate, observed school violence and perceived school violence) and other variables with a sociometric format (physical aggressiveness, help and like). The study involved 78 participants (44 schoolboys and 34 schoolgirls) from 3 rd and 4 th grade at a public school in Malaga (Spain). In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention, a pre-test/post-test control group design has been conducted together with covariance statistical analyses. Results showed that the intervention had a positive effect on the class social climate variables as well as on variables with a sociometric format. Keywords: Self-report, social climate, school violence, sociometric, analysis of covariance.
