Stability analysis of the waste dump "Oštreljski Planir" was carried out using the Geostudio2007 software for critical profiles determined on 3D model of the site in Gemcom 6 software. The influence of water on the stability of dump is defined by varying the coefficient of pore water in disposed material.
Development of mining works at the South Mining District Majdanpek in the following short-term period requires removal of water, sludge and sediment from the water collector on the open pit bottom in order to create the necessary exploitation and spatial conditions for undisturbed operation of mining equipment. This paper presents the technology of sediment removal from the inactive water collector on the bottom of open pit, which is a condition for maintaining the continuity of copper ore mining and processing at the South Mining District the Majdanpek Copper Mine. The technology is designed from the aspect of ensuring the maximum safety of people and mining equipment.
The existing landfill at the site "Maljevac" is still active and should provide the additional space for ash and slag disposal in the following period. For these purposes, the stability analysis of the existing landfill condition, as well as the stability calculation for overtop the landfill to the peak elevation K +832 m were carried out. The stability by analytical profiles was calculated by the licensed SLIDE v6.0 software.
In the open pit mining of mineral raw materials, blasting, whose role is to break the undisturbed mass for easier loading, is the necessary technological phase. In the mass blasting at the open pits of metal ore, there is a rise of cloud composed of gases and dust, blasting mining products, which have negative effects on the surrounding environment. This work presents the calculations of a cloud size, concentration of gases and dust in blasting.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
