THE GOOD NEWS is that the discipline of design management is finally standing on its own. As Margaret Bruce and Rachel Davies‐Cooper report, its presence in business and design‐school curricula takes many forms, but it is there. The challenges ahead include developing better methods for cross‐functional teaching and student interaction, expanding the “library” of course materials and student exercises, and evaluating which, among the various pedagogical strategies being implemented, hold the most promise.
