Logic based power management system for automatic switching of lights' banks is presented in this work. This system is developed based on a generated power from a wind turbine, a profile of the banks' states provided by the user, and a sequence of priorities. The generated power is controlled to track the reference power profile by a pitch angle control strategy. In order to maintain a consistent brilliance of the lights and reduce the activity of the pitch actuator, a modified PI controller is presented to deal with fluctuation problems. Experimental results are provided to show the proposed power management system for a pitch controlled wind turbine.Index Terms--automatic switching, electronic load, pitch angle control, power management, wind turbine.
This paper presents the design and fabrication of a smart footwear using peltier module. It is developed such a way that it works in various difficult weather conditions. This system works on the principle of peltier effect, which is a reciprocal of seebeck effect. This system is designed to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the footwear. This footwear may help the workers in thermal power plants, cement industries, people working in the hot weather conditions. The peltier cell consists of two surfaces of cold and hot which moves electrons between the surfaces by reversing the direction of the current. Inside the peltier’s module, a P-N junction diode like structure, made of two different metals having a high difference of electron density. The higher density diffused component in cold and hot junctions improves the performance of peltier cell.
A Four wheel steering system also known as Quadra steering system. In this paper, both front wheel and rear wheels can be steered according to speed other vehicle and space available for turning. Quadra steer gives full size vehicle greater ease while driving at low speed, improves stability, handling and control at higher speed. Production-built cars tend to under steer or, in few instances, overseer. If a car could automatically compensate for an under steer overseer problem, the driver would enjoy nearly neutral steering under varying conditions.
