BACKGROUND: Radiotherapy for recurrent irradiated brain tumors is limited by toxicity. The purpose of this study is to determine whether second radiotherapy treatment is beneficial or not for patients with recurrent brain tumors. PATIENTS AND METHODS: In a prospective study, 11 patients who recurred after primary brain tumors, first treated between 2005-2012, were analyzed for second radiotherapy treatment.
