Modern highly mechanized and electrified agriculture places high demands on power supply reliability and uninterrupted work. To increase the reliability of power supply to agricultural consumers, in some cases, taking into account the configuration of electric distribution networks and the availability of responsible consumers, a conditionally closed ring network is created. Interruptions in power supply lead to downtime of agricultural production, a decrease in the volume of output, damage to the main technological equipment [1, 2]. In this regard, there is a need to make informed decisions on the choice of ways to increase the reliability of uninterrupted power supply due to the reservation of various elements of the power supply system, improving the organization of maintenance, and the operational diagnostics of faulty elements.
The paper considers options for the implementation of the technical condition monitoring of the of power supply system elements, the assessment of overgrowing of the power line routes using an unmanned aerial vehicle. A method for emergency control of an unmanned aerial vehicle used to monitor the technical condition of 6-10 kV overhead power lines has been proposed. This method is used in case of loss of radio communication between the unmanned aerial vehicle and the ground control station. The method is based on the activation of the automatic piloting system allowing the unmanned aerial vehicle flight to continue to the pre-determined emergency landing area. The autopilot is carried out by means of a servo controller and sensitive sensors reacting to the intensity of the electromagnetic field of a 6-10 kV overhead power line.
An important direction in improving the technical and economic level of technologies and agricultural production machinery is to ensure high reliability of power supply. Power interruptions cause damage to both agricultural consumers and power supply organizations. Therefore, obtaining on-line information about the occurrence of emergency operating conditions, and, therefore, minimizing the time for making operational decisions on their elimination, is an urgent task. Known methods and technical control means are complex, expensive and not effective enough. At the same time, they have both advantages and disadvantages. In this respect, it is very important to work out efficient technical means of remote control of power line sectionalizing circuit-breakers of the agro-industrial complex on the basis of innovative methods of monitoring. The proposed control method is implemented in a device for remote control of the overhead line circuit-breaker operation based on an analog-to-digital converter, with subsequent software-based processing of the received data on a computer. This method implementation of circuit breaker opening remote control will improve power supply reliability of agricultural consumers.
Circuit breakers with automatic transfer switches (ATS) are designed in such a way that when the voltage disappears during a short-circuit (SC) in the ring network line, the ATS device is triggered. At the same time, its switch is turned on at short-circuit, then it is turned off with acceleration. Even a shortterm switching on of the automatic transfer switch for a sustained short-circuit leads to emergency situations [1,2]. The electrical equipment of the ring network spare line is exposed to high emergency short-circuit currents, and the consumers powered by the spare transformer are turned off. It is possible to minimize and eliminate the damages caused by the above mentioned cases by inhibiting the switching on of the circuitbreaker of the automatic transfer switch.
