Die Abmessungen der Elementarzellen der monoklinen Lanthaniden‐oxalatdekahydrate Nd2(C2O4)3 · 10H2O und Sm2(C2O4)3 · 10H2O wurden aus Drehkristallaufnahmen bestimmt. Die so gewonnenen Daten wurden zur Indizierung der Pulverdiagramme des Neodym‐ und Samariumsalzes benutzt und aus diesen letzteren durch Analogieschluß das Pulverdiagramm des entsprechenden Promethiumoxalatdekahydrats, Pm2(C2O4)3 · 10H2O ausgedeutet. Für die Gitterkonstanten, die Volumina der Elementarzellen und die berechneten Dichten wurden die folgenden Zahlenwerte gefunden:

In den Drehkristalldiagrammen der nullten Schichtlinie (Drehung um die c‐Achse) fehlen alle Interferenzen 0 k 0 mit ungeradem k. Dies macht die Raumgruppe P 21/m wahrscheinlich.
Die Dodecavanadophosphorsäure H7[PV12O36] xH2O wurde aus der wäßrigen Lösung ihres Salzes Li2H5[PV12O36] xH2O durch Ionenaustausch und anschließendes Eindampfen der Lösung als rotvioletter, kristalliner Festkörper erhalten. Ihre Charakterisierung erfolgte durch Elementanalyse, potentiometrische Titration mit Natronlauge und Infrarot‐Spektroskopie.
Aus konzentrierten, mit Phosphorsäure versetzten Vanadatlösungen des Lithiums, Magnesiums und Calciums lassen sich durch Ansäuern mit konzentrierter Salpetersäure bis zu pH‐Werten um 0 die Pentahydrogen‐12‐vanadophosphate in Form feinkristalliner, roter Niederschläge ausfällen. Der Protonierungsgrad der Anionen wurde durch potentiometrische Titration mit Natronlauge bei verschiedenen Temperaturen bestimmt.
