This paper reports the development of a Circularly Polarized (CP) microstrip patch array working at Ku band and in particular between 16.9-17.2GHz for remote sensing applications. The design is based on a sequential rotation of four linearly polarized rectangular patches and appropriate phase shifts provided by a corporate feed network. The agreement between measurements and simulations carried out using HFSS is satisfactory.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
