The aim of the study was a veterinary and sanitary assessment of meat and slaughter products in cattle fasciosis. To achieve the goal, depending on the intensity and extensiveness of fasciolous invasion, meat carcasses received by the laboratory of veterinary and sanitary examination of the market were divided into four groups: with a low degree of invasion; with a moderate degree of invasion; with a high degree of invasion and no signs of invasion. Safety assessment of slaughter products was carried out using organoleptic, physicochemical indices, bacterioscopic examination of smears and microbiological analysis of meat. As a result of the studies, it was found that the infection of cattle with fasciosis leads to changes in the organoleptic and physicochemical characteristics of meat. The strongest deviations in physicochemical indicators were recorded in the group with a strong degree of invasion.
ЭПИЗООТОЛОГИЯ Птичий грипп может быть занесен в Азербайджан перелетными птицами РЕЗЮМЕ Рассмотрена опасность спонтанного образования новых высокопатогенных и вирулентных мутантов и серовариантов в природе вирусов птичьего, свиного и человеческого гриппа, клинические признаки гриппа, патогенез, паталогоанатомические изменения, пути профилактики и роль перелетных птиц, мигрирующих в зависимости от сезона, в распространении заболевания в Азербайджане. Миграция перелетных птиц с севера на юг и обратно в зависимости от времени года, с прохождением через территорию нашей республики указывает на опасность заноса заболевания к нам из тех стран в любое время.
The fauna of turkey helminths was studied in specialized and subsidiary farms of the population in 23 districts of the republic belonging to 4 natural and climatic zones: Kur-Aras and Lankaran lowlands, foothill and mountain belts of the Great and Lesser Caucasus. We have registered 12 species of turkey helminths, of which one species is recorded for the first time in turkeys in the CIS, and 9 species in Azerbaijan. When opening 676 turkeys, infection with helminths was revealed by 75.4%, including nematodes — 74.4%, cestodes — 7.8%, trematodes — 0.14%.
