A novel, high-entropy, perovskite-structured, solid solution La(Fe 0.2 Co 0.2 Ni 0.2 Cr 0.2 Mn 0.2 )O 3 ceramic was successfully synthesized via high-temperature solid-state reaction. The crystal structure, microstructure, infrared emissivity, and thermophysical properties were investigated. The experimental results indicated that La(Fe 0.2 Co 0.2 Ni 0.2 Cr 0.2 Mn 0.2 )O 3 exhibited an infrared emissivity as high as .92 in the near-infrared region of .76-2.50 μm. The thermal conductivity was 1.38-1.72 W m −1 K −1 in the temperature range of 25-1200 • C.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
