Rhabdomyolysis refers to the destruction or disintegration of striated muscles. This syndrome is characterized by muscle breakdown and necrosis, resulting in the leakage of intracellular muscle constituents into the circulation and extracellular fluid. We report a rare case of rhabdomyolysis complicating multi-organ failure caused by T-cell lymphoma in a 32-year-old woman. The final diagnosis was rhabdomyolysis caused by peripheral T-cell lymphoma based on bone marrow aspirate and biopsy.
A rosin-derived bifunctional squaramide catalyzed asymmetric Michael addition of malononitrile with chalcones was discovered. This protocol provides a methodology for the facile synthesis of chiral γ-cyano carbonyl compounds in high yields and enantioselectivities (up to 99% yield and 90% ee) with a lower catalyst loading (0.3 mol%). The predominant R-configured adducts were obtained by this organocatalystic reaction, according to the experimental findings.Catalysts 2020, 10, 14 2 of 11 malononitrile and chalcones. As our ongoing interest in organocatalysis of rosin-derived catalysts, we herein reported the results from the asymmetric Michael addition of malononitrile with chalcones catalyzed by rosin-derived bifunctional squaramide organocatalysts.
Purposes: To probe abnormality that may lead to anxiety in depressive patients. Procedures: This study investigated the graph theory features ahead of machine learning feature selection procedure. Classification methods were applied afterwards. Methods: Graph theory, statistical analysis and forward sequential feature selection were combined to find features. SVM classifier was also involved. Results: 1 global and 22 local features were found correlated with clinical anxiety factor. Conclusions: Anxiety is correlated with emotion and cognitive loop and other regions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
