A metal‐ and oxidant‐free electrochemical method for synthesizing 1,2,3‐thiadiazoles by inserting element sulfur into N‐tosyl hydrazones is reported. This electrochemical transformation engages electrons as reagents to achieve redox processes, and avoid excess oxidants. The cyclic voltammograms are examined to explore the mechanism of this electrolysis reaction.magnified image
We have developed a metal-free and catalyst-free visible-light-promoted direct C–H sulfenylation of quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones with thiols for the synthesis of diverse 3-sulfenylquinoxalin-2(1H)-ones.
We have developed a facile method for the synthesis of benzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines and 2-pyridones from readily available ynones and 2-methylbenzimidazoles or acetamides.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
