Resonance metallic stent is a safe and effective treatment for MUO and can maintain durable patency over 12 months. Preoperative urinary tract infection (UTI) and tumor invasion into the bladder are considered as risk factors of stent blockage and failure. Early postoperative elevated creatinine oliguria, suggestive with intrarenal and prerenal disease, should not be deemed to be stent failure.
