BACKGROUND: Surfactants are always used as collectors to form complexes with the hazardous materials of wastewaters in foam fractionation. An important topic is how to reuse the surfactants in the process of recovering the hazardous materials. In this work, a novel technology of foam fractionation coupled with adsorption separation was developed for separating streptomycin sulfate (SS) from its simulated wastewater and reusing the collector sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
