Medicine is critical to our everyday lives and to the well-being of individuals of all ages and backgrounds. With the beginning of the Corona pandemic and a rise in Corona virus infection cases, the use of medications to prevent and recover from infection has increased, as well as to treat illness consequences, has grown. The effectiveness of medicines is greatly influenced by the expiration date. In this paper, a system for pharmacy or medical store's information storage system was developed and enhanced by automatically monitoring the validity of medications on a periodic basis and sending expiry reports to medicine authorities through e-mail to warn them that a medicine is approaching expiration. The system was also enhanced with internet of thing (IoT) for fast and secure delivery of the medicine validity report.
This paper aims at developing an applied system to evaluate the e-Learning Modules (eLMs) depending on selected related criteria. Those criteria concern with many fields as well as many factors like, learning theories, computer science, instructional computer, software engineering, educational sciences, language criteria, economical factors, etc. Therefore the authors expressed the term of selected criteria to reflect the meaning of integrated factors of the environment deals with the developed eLM. However eLM for any subject requires for a systematic steps of integrated work depending on the model which is considered by the developer. Mostly the output of a stage represents the input of the next step. Our model will cover all steps in details. Thus such model could be considered not only to evaluate the developed eLMs but it could be used during process of developing because many items of criteria are designed so as to be a guide for developer during development of eLM. Developer should consider eLMs while he/she develops an eLM.Finally the authors presented selected eLM to apply the evaluating model, outcomes of the evaluations process lead to the needful conclusion.
This paper focuses on developing an important kind of elearning Modules (eLMs) which is enhanced with fun and enjoyment. However such kind is suitable with children in primary school or pre-primary school. A case study has presented during developing and evaluating. Many papers have been published on designing and evaluating eLMs. A systematic model has been considered in designing eLMs.
To develop an e-learning module for a certain topic, many factors must be taken into account. Each factor deals with a specific area of study, therefore such development does not represent a task of software skills, programming, or developing of multimedia. But it is an integrated work in which software development represents the main tool and the main factor of that work.
For Hearing Impaired Persons (HI) this work would be more difficult because the designer must consider specific factors represent the environment of teaching / learning process for HI person via e-Learning. According to our survey we did not find such systematic integrated model which would be a typical guide for developing e-learning modules (eLMs) for HI persons so that the developed eLMs would be systematic and realizing effective instructional outcomes.
The integrated and systematic approach, which has been used during the development of this model, results in a model that processes all requirements of designers who would like to develop their own eLMs for any topic and for any category of HI persons.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
