Squamous inclusion cyst is a rare benign cystic lesion most commonly affecting the floor of mouth in the oral cavity. Its presence in the palatine tonsil of the oropharynx is an extremely rare occurrence. We highlight a case of an elderly female who was histopathologically diagnosed as squamous inclusion cyst of the palatine tonsil. We shall discuss the presentation, diagnosis, management and postoperative follow-up of the case.
Pyogenic granuloma is an inflammatory hyperplasia secondary to chronic irritation. We report a case of a 24-year-old male patient who presented with a pyogenic granuloma on the right lateral border of the tongue. We shall discuss the differential diagnosis and the treatment for the same.
Congenital laryngeal web is an otolaryngology rarity, which occurs due to incomplete recanalization of the larynx. We report a case of a 22 year-old patient who presented with a congenital anterior laryngeal web. We shall discuss the presentation, diagnosis, management and postoperative follow up of the case.
