O presente artigo trata das possibilidades de perceber ações extensionistas universitárias enquanto via para a construção coletiva e plural do conhecimento histórico, dialogando com as proposições da História Pública. Para tal, explanaremos sobre as ações que envolvem o curso de Bacharelado em História da Universidade Federal do Cariri, sediado em Icó-CE, e a comunidade local. Por meio das ações de extensão, temos empreendido esforços que buscam debater experiências e leituras, bem como atividades práticas voltadas à população em torno de questões relacionadas à Educação Patrimonial. Essas oportunidades têm trazido à tona o debate sobre o processo de patrimonialização de bens locais, evidenciando demandas variadas por parte da comunidade e do corpo discente do curso de História. Palavras-chaves: Extensão universitária; Educação Patrimonial; História Pública Abstract: This article deals with the possibilities of perceiving university extensionist actions as a way to construct collective and plural of historical knowledge, dialoguing with the propositions of Public History. For this, we will explain about the actions that involve the Bachelor's Degree course in History of the Federal University of Cariri, based in Icó-CE, and the local community. Through the extension actions, we have undertaken efforts that seek to discuss experiences and readings, as well as practical activities aimed at the population around issues related to Heritage Education. These opportunities have brought to the fore the debate on the process of patrimonialization of local goods, evidencing various demands on the part of the community and the student body of the History course. Keywords: University extension; Heritage Education; Public History Resumen: Este artículo se ocupa de las posibilidades de realizar acciones de extensión universitaria, mientras que el camino a la construcción colectiva y plural del conocimiento histórico, dialogando con las proposiciones de Historia Pública. Con este fin, explanaremos sobre las acciones que implican el curso de Historia en la Universidad Federal de Cariri, con sede en Icó-CE, y la comunidad local. A través de la extensión, hemos emprendido esfuerzos que buscan discutir las experiencias y lecturas, así como actividades prácticas dirigidas a la población en torno a temas relacionados con la educación sobre el patrimonio. Estas oportunidades han puesto sobre el tapete el debate sobre el proceso de patrimonialización, mostrando diversas demandas de la comunidad y el alumnado del curso de la historia.
