Percebe-se, então, que a utilização da tecnologia digital é um meio usual para os alunos, tendo em vista que os jovens do século XXI têm se apropriado rapidamente dos meios de utilização das ferramentas tecnológicas e das possibilidades que estas podem oferecer. Assim, é recomendável que os professores de matemática saibam guiar seus alunos na utilização da tecnologia, em prol da aquisição de conhecimentos matemáticos e das formas de aplicação prática desses conhecimentos. GEOGEBRAPode-se entender o GeoGebra como um software de matemática dinâmica utilizado para as aulas de matemática e que oferece várias possibilidades de visualização, manuseio, conteúdo e exploração de assuntos relacionados à matemática.De acordo com Ghiggi e Koch (2014, p.2) O software GeoGebra, foi criado inicialmente por Markus Hohenwarter para ser utilizado em ambiente de sala de aula. Seu projeto teve início em 2001, na Universität Salzburg, e até hoje continua sendo desenvolvido, porém agora na Florida Atlantic University.A figura 1, a seguir, traz um exemplo da utilização do GeoGebra nas aulas de matemática.
