O objetivo do artigo, baseado nos Estudos Culturais a partir de uma vertentepós-moderna e pós-estruturalista, é analisar a construção da credibilidade por meio daspedagogias da moda que operam no programa Esquadrão da Moda. A moda é um campoamplo de significados e suas pedagogias funcionam de maneira a moldar corpos e construiridentidades, auxiliando no posicionamento dos sujeitos na sociedade e na representaçãode características específicas que eles precisam ter. Evidencia-se que o reality showEsquadrão da Moda, voltado para uma audiência feminina, produz uma ideia de credibilidadea partir de peças oriundas do guarda-roupa masculino, bem como altera o corpoe, por vezes, a conduta das participantes, enquadrando-as em uma série de estereótipossociais.
Este artigo tem por objetivo entender como a governamentalidade neoliberal está presente no Projeto Pedagógico e nas ementas das disciplinas do Curso Superior de Tecnologia em Design de Moda ofertado pelo do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciências e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) Campus Erechim. Parte-se de dois pressupostos: a) os currículos dos cursos acadêmicos são construídos a partir de determinadas abordagens e perspectivas teóricas e acabam por ensinar mais do que os conteúdos pretendidos: eles ensinam o estudante a ser e estar no tempo presente; b) a lógica neoliberal permeia múltiplos espaços socioculturais e se traduz, no currículo do referido curso, na ênfase à autonomia dos sujeitos, no imperativo da inovação, da concorrência e da flexibilização das mentes e do tempo de trabalho. Tais características – tidas como desejáveis nos sujeitos na contemporaneidade – direcionam as ações, as vontades e os desejos de docentes e discentes. O Esquadrão da Moda, em sua versão brasileira, é um reality show bastante popular no Brasil, que procura ensinar as participantes a se vestirem, apresentando looks que estejam de acordo com o cotidiano e a personalidade de cada uma. Objetiva-se, a partir da perspectiva teórica dos Estudos Culturais, dos Estudos de Mídia e de Moda, analisar as chamadas pedagogias da moda colocadas em ação pelo referido programa. Enfatizam-se as relações entre corpo, moda e identidades culturais, bem como assume-se que as pedagogias da moda (trans/de)formam os corpos e os comportamentos dos sujeitos, auxiliam no processo de representação e dos grupos sociais e, por fim, (de)marcam as identidades culturais.
