An electric vehicle battery has a great ability to power a vehicle, being able to be used in everything from cars to busses. A Battery in an electric vehicle is one of the most important parts which makes the vehicle function, moreover electric vehicles are used for no carbon emission and for environment protection. For the selection of the best battery possible for an electric vehicle is most important task for the bright future. To decide the best battery for electric vehicles, use multi criteria decision making method, by taking few important and basic specifications of a vehicle battery like Life span of the battery, Efficiency, Durability, Recharge time, Temperature dependence, cost and weight. The present work done here gives us the best possible way of battery selection possible for electric vehicle using methods like, Analytical hierarchy process, Technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution, Complex Proportional Assessment and VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno and the finally ranking the batteries.
