177 Lu-PSMA-617 radioligand therapy (RLT) has evolved as a suitable alternative to existing therapeutic options in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. With the emergence of α-emitters such as 225 Ac, the efficacy of PSMA-RLT has further improved. Xerostomia and myelosuppression are common early treatment-emergent adverse events in patients receiving this therapy; however, data on long-term toxicity are relatively scarce. In this report, we describe a 76-year-old man with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, who after having an initial excellent response to 2 cycles of 225 Ac-PSMA-617 RLT, developed delayed nephrotoxicity in the form of tubulointerstitial nephritis.
Degenerate Cope rearrangements of bullvalene, semibullvalene, and barbaralane and their all-phospha analogues, namely decaphosphabullvalene (P 10 -bullvalene), octaphosphasemibullvalene (P 8 -semibullvalene), 9H-nonaphosphabarbaralane (P 9 -barbaralane), P 9 -barbaralan-9-onium ion and P 9 -barbaralane-9-phosphinic acid have been investigated theoretically at the DFT (B3LYP/6-31+G * ) level. The CH/P exchange causes remarkable lowering of the activation enthalpies, H # for the degenerate Cope rearrangements. On the basis of the optimized geometries and the activation enthalpies, P 8 -semibullvalene, and P 9 -barbaralan-9-onium ion are predicted to show bishomoaromatic character.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
