Ebola virus is responsible for the Ebola virus diseases. The epidemic of Ebola hemorrhagic fever is a deadly disease of animal can also be transmitted to human and non-human primates. The virulence of Ebola virus involved in several immune evasion mechanisms that include an inhibition of type I interferon responsible for innate immunity, epitope masking, etc. recently Ebola virus is sexually transmitted which was reported in Liberia has associated with new clusters in regions previously declared Ebola-free. There is no appropriate antiviral vaccine or therapy is not available to work against EBOV infection in humans. However, supportive recovery practices are performed include high-fluid intake, ventilator support and broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy. The treatment and diagnosis is very important because these kind of dangerous viruses are possibly used for bio-weapons. The present review describes briefly about virology, epidemiology, pathophysiology, transmission, diagnosis and treatment of Ebola viral disease.
Present social networking services suggest friends to users based on their social activities, which may not be the most suitable to react a users taste on friend choice in real life. In this project, we present Friendswall, a semanticbased friend recommendation system for social networks, which present friends to users based on their life styles instead of social activities. By taking benefit of sensor-rich Smartphones, Friendswall discovers life styles of users, measures the resemblance of life styles between users, and suggest friends to users if their life styles have high resemblance. Inspired by text mining, in this project we design a users daily life as life documents, from which his/her life styles are taken out by using the Naive Byes algorithm. We further aim a similarity metric to measure the resemblance of life styles between users, and estimate users impact in terms of life styles with a friend-matching graph. Upon acquiring a request, FriendsWall returns a list of people with maximum resemblance scores to the query user. At last, FriendsWall incorporate a feedback mechanism to further amend the recommendation accuracy. This project will build FriendsWall and evaluate its performance on both small-scale experiments and large-scale model.
The search for lightweight and highly efficient structural components is a continuing process. Reducing the structural weight and improving the load carrying capabilities of these structures will allow designers to append additional capabilities while reducing cost. Isogrid is a lattice of stiffened ribs forming an array of contiguous equilateral triangles. This rib pattern forms triangular trusses by maintaining isotropic property. Ribs when arranged in 60? pattern are known as Isogrid. The highly redundant nature of Isogrid stiffening concept provides high efficiency distributing loads and is less susceptible to impact damage, delamination, and crack propagation. Isogrid structure is typically found in stiffness critical components that resist buckling. The behavior and performance of Isogrid deck slab in a Bridge supported by the truss girders is studied. Isogrid is modeled, analyzed and designed using commercial Finite Element (FE) software. In the present work, a truss bridge is designed for a span of 10.305 m. The bridge is designed using three different kinds of deck configuration, rectangular section without skin, inverted T section with skin, and I section with skin. Commercial FE software is used for computing deflections and stresses. It is found that the deck profile of I section with skin is more preferable than other configurations for Truss Bridge.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
