The proton spin-lattice recovery function at high magnetic fields and the nuclear magnetization decay in the rotating frame are nonexponential in the incipient proton glass Rb& -(NH4)"H2As04. The results can be described by a stretched-exponential correlation and magnetization-recovery function with the distribution parameter n in a=1n varying from zero at room temperature to 0.25 at 100 K and 0.4 at temperatures below 12 K. The same values of n are obtained at high magnetic fields and in the rotating frame.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
