Semantic representation is an important problem in the description of concept. Attribute method is widely used to realize concepts' semantic representation in a great many subjects. According to the definition and character of geographic concept, we use ontology property to describe geographic concept instead of ordinary language description. Through analyzing the character ontology property of all geographic concepts, a set of ontology property which includes spatiality, temporality, materiality, reason, and function is formed to manage all ontology properties of geographic concept. Using this method, the concepts' semantics can be expressed clearly. We give an example of few concepts in order to validate the correctness at last.
With economics developing fast and internet spreading extensively, the public strongly desire to know about land information. Especially, the policy, Land registration information available to the public inquiry approach, has been executed since March 1st, 2003, which gives the Land Department with guidance to build land information web query service for public. Land information web query service for public requires Land Management Department to provide land registration information which contains attribute and graphics information. When it comes to querying attribute information, precise and fuzzy query methods are commonly used in realistic applications. To improve the speed and accuracy of fuzzy query, Chinese word segmentation method is currently used. Especially, there is no previous example by this method used in cadastre information inquiry. Meanwhile, as for querying lands' spatial information, it is necessary to query attribute information before retrieving the actual graphics information. Then turning to the map service, eagle eye can show which part of whole cadastre map the specified cadastre land located in. But it is obvious the display speed of eagle eye is not as fast as that of cadastre map. Hence, we try to implement the multi-level query with frame selection on cadastre map and identify the different cadastre land with different colors, as eagle eye's display and panning speed are also accelerated. The accomplishments of our research have been applied to Land information query system of Ningbo. It is hoped that the solutions in this system will help to develop and study analogous issues.Keywords: Land information service; fuzzy query; map service RESEARCH BACKGROUNDAfter thirty-year high speed development, China has been making many great achievements admitted by whole world.Looking back the history, it is found that economic progresses have much to do with land use, especially for our country whose land resources are exiguous, not mention the high developed districts in China. As a result, land resources never lack attentions from the public, which significantly proves that they look forward to obtaining relative land information badly and conveniently.
