Par quels processus le psychodrame psychanalytique individuel concourt-il à l’évolution symptomatique des patients ? Quelles places et fonctions occupe le contre-transfert individuel et groupal des cothérapeutes dans ce processus psychothérapeutique ? Les auteurs de cet article abordent l’articulation de ces deux problématiques à travers le cas d’un jeune patient suivi en cmp pendant plusieurs années. Ce récit clinique témoigne de la manière dont l’exploration et l’élaboration de la pluralité des contre-transferts que le dispositif du psychodrame convoque spécifiquement, adossées à la remise en « jeu » d’un espace intermédiaire par le travail intersubjectif avec le groupe, s’offrent comme un guide favorisant le processus psychanalytique et comme indicateur des évolutions du patient, autant en termes de symptômes que de changements intrapsychiques et relationnels.
Après avoir mis en exergue l’importance de la problématique œdipienne, du narcissisme et de la problématique de perte/séparation dans les processus d’adolescence et de devenir adulte, cet article se propose de rendre compte de leurs intrications avec la temporalité psychique, afin de mettre en évidence la pertinence de cette notion dans le devenir adulte. En effet, si l’adolescence a pu faire l’objet de quelques travaux du point de vue de la temporalité psychique, aucune recherche adossée à la pensée psychanalytique ne s’est encore intéressée à son importance dans le devenir adulte. Pour se faire, et en appui sur notre recherche de doctorat, nous préciserons ces interactions entre temporalité psychique et devenir adulte, puis nous proposerons une méthodologie étayée sur les épreuves projectives du Rorschach et du tat pour rendre compte de la qualité du déploiement du devenir adulte du point de vue de la temporalité psychique.
Cet article fait suite à un travail de thèse de doctorat (Chantepie, 2020) portant sur l’évaluation, sous le prisme de l’investissement psychique de la temporalité, des processus de changement au cours de psychothérapies psychanalytiques menées auprès d’adolescents et de jeunes adultes. Ici, l’auteur propose des éléments de réflexion, orientés par la pensée psychanalytique, sur les spécificités à l’œuvre dans les remaniements psychiques engagés par le devenir adulte, à la suite des réaménagements pubertaires mis en jeu durant l’adolescence. La temporalité psychique s’offre comme une heuristique particulièrement intéressante à cet égard, en ce qu’elle permet un travail d’écart et d’articulation des deux processus psychiques visés – l’adolescence d’une part, le devenir adulte d’autre part. Ce prisme permet de souligner que si ces deux processus s’apparentent à des expériences de temporalisation, le devenir adulte offre la possibilité d’une véritable élaboration en après-coup du temps pubertaire lui-même. Le propos de l’auteur sera éclairé par le cas clinique d’une jeune femme ayant entrepris une psychothérapie psychanalytique à l’orée de ses 18 ans.
