Die AutorenMarkus Dederich, geboren 1960, ist Professor für Allgemeine Heilpädagogik, Theorie der Heilpädagogik und Rehabilitation an der Humanwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität zu Köln. Aktuelle Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind u. a. grundlagentheoretische und ethische Fragen im Kontext von Behinderung, wissenschafsttheoretische Aspekte der Heil-und Sonderpädagogik, Theorien der Behinderung und Disability Studies, Inklusions-und Exklusionsforschung und anthropologische sowie erziehungswissenschaftliche Aspekte der Vulnerabilität. Philipp Seitzer ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Bereich Allgemeine Heilpädagogik, Theorie der Heilpädagogik und Rehabilitation an der Universität zu Köln sowie akademischer Mitarbeiter im Institut für sonderpädagogische Förderschwerpunkte, Fachbereich Geistige Entwicklung an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Ludwigsburg.
