Mục tiêu: Mô tả đặc điểm bệnh nhân phẫu thuật basedow tại Bệnh viện Thống Nhất. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả hồi cứu trên 74 bệnh án của bệnh nhân basedow có chỉ định phẫu thuật và đã được phẫu thuật tại bệnh viện Thống Nhất từ 10/3/2021 đến 10/6/2021. Kết quả: Chủ yếu là nữ (89,19%), với độ tuổi chủ yếu là 21 đến 40 (55,41%). Đa số bệnh nhân phát hiện bệnh thông qua triệu chứng HHTN (87,84%), bướu giáp to (81,08%). Bướu giáp chủ yếu là độ II (54,05%) và có mật độ chắc (67,57%). Đa số bệnh nhân có bướu lan tỏa, thể tích từ 13,74ml-58,12ml. Nồng độ FT3, FT4, TSH trước mổ đa số bệnh nhân chiếm tỉ lệ (97,35%) nằm trong giới hạn bình thường. Bệnh nhân chủ yếu được cắt bướu giáp hoàn toàn (91,89%), với lý do thất bại trong điều trị nội khoa (58,11%). Phần lớn bệnh nhân không gặp biến chứng sau mổ (90,54%). Kết luận: Đa số bệnh nhân phát hiện bệnh thông qua triệu chứng HHTN, bướu giáp to. Bướu giáp chủ yếu là độ II, mật độ chắc. Đa số bệnh nhân có bướu lan tỏa, thể tích từ 13,74ml-58,12ml. Bệnh nhân chủ yếu được cắt bướu giáp hoàn toàn, với lý do thất bại trong điều trị nội khoa.
Mục tiêu: Mô tả thực trạng sử dụng kháng sinh sau phẫu thuật Basedow tại Bệnh viện Thống Nhất. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả hồi cứu trên 74 bệnh án của bệnh nhân basedow có chỉ định phẫu thuật và đã được phẫu thuật tại Bệnh viện Thống Nhất từ 10/3/2021 đến 10/6/2021. Kết quả: Phần lớn các bệnh nhân được sử dụng kháng sinh sau mổ Basedow với tỷ lệ 64,84%. Kháng sinh được sử dụng sau mổ Basedow thuộc hai nhóm Cefazolin và ampicillin–sulbactam với tỷ lệ lần lượt là 54,17% và 45,83%, toàn bộ bệnh nhân được dùng kháng sinh đường tiêm. Tỷ lệ bệnh nhân có biểu hiện nhiễm khuẩn thấp - 2,70%. Liên quan giữa việc dùng kháng sinh và tỷ lệ nhiễm khuẩn là không rõ ràng. Tỷ lệ bệnh nhân nhiễm khuẩn sau mổ trong các bệnh nhân được dùng kháng sinh là 2,08% (1/48 BN). Tỷ lệ bệnh nhân nhiễm khuẩn sau mổ trong các bệnh nhân không được dùng kháng sinh là 3,84% (1/26 BN). Kết luận: Kháng sinh được sử dụng sau mổ Basedow thuộc hai nhóm Cefazolin và ampicillin–sulbactam và được dùng đường tiêm. Tỷ lệ bệnh nhân nhiễm khuẩn thấp.
