Timeliness of financial statements has been regulated by the government in accordance with regulations issued by the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) which states that public companies are required to submit financial reports no later than the fourth month after the financial year ends. But some companies that are not timely in presenting their financial statements. This study aims to find empirical evidence about the influence of company size, liquidity, profitability, leverage, auditor's opinion, and KAP's reputation on the timeliness of financial statement submission. The population in this study are property and real estate sub-sector services companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI)) for the period of 2016-2018, as many as 47 companies. The sample in this study were 35 companies taken by purposive sampling method. The dependent variable is, the timeliness of financial statement submission. While the independent variables in this study are company size, liquidity, profitability, leverage, auditor's opinion, and KAP's reputation. Data collection methods using the method of library research and documentation methods. Hypothesis testing uses logistic regression at a significance level of 5 percent. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that firm size variables significantly influence the timeliness of financial statement submission with a significance value of 0.024 <0.05. Liquidity variable does not affect the timeliness of financial statement submission with a significance value of 0.437> 0.05. The profitability variable does not affect the timeliness of financial statement submission with a significance value of 0.753> 0.05. The leverage variable does not affect the timeliness of the delivery of financial statements with a significance value of 0.512> 0.05. The auditor's opinion variable has a significant effect on the timeliness of the delivery of the financial statements with a significance value of 0.025 <0.05. KAP reputation variable does not affect the timeliness of financial statement submission with a significance value of 0.998> 0.05.
The second term of Audit Results Summary Report (IHPS) of Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia or Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) concluded that the implementation of commercial bank supervision by OJK for 2017-2019 has met the criteria with exceptions. The exception occurred in the incomplete supervision for several banks. This study aims to determine whether the negative opinion of the BPK has been responded by investors. The research was conducted by comparing the volatility of banks that are excepted by the BPK with the banks that are not excepted by the BPK. The sample of banks that are excepted by the BPK was represented by 4 banks and the banks that are not excepted by the BPK were represented by 31 Banks. The test was carried out using a nonparametric independence t test. The test results show that there is a significant difference between the volatility of banks that are excepted by the BPK and banks that are not excepted by the BPK. The existence of this significant difference provides empirical evidence that investors respond to the negative opinion of BPK. This response shows that the BPK's opinion is trusted and is considered to provide adequate information for investors.
At this time the development of Islamic financial institutions is growing so rapidly. This can be seen from the many Islamic banks and other Islamic financial institutions such as Islamic Financial Services Cooperatives (KJKS). For the sake of transparency, accountability and comparability of sharia financial reports, it is necessary to have SAK syariah which regulates it, especially SAK 102, but there are still many KJKS that have not implemented it. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability between the application of murabahah financing accounting with SAK 102 at KJKS Ibu Mandiri Ungaran. The informants in this study were managers and tellers at KJKS Ibu Mandiri. The research variables are murabahah financing at KJKS and SAK 102. Data collection methods are interviews and documentation to collect data about the application of murabahah financing accounting. Methods of data analysis using descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that KJKS has not fully implemented SAK 102. Because the recognition of receivables, calculation of fines, presentation and disclosure of murabahah financing is not in accordance with SAK 102. The advice given is KJKS Ibu Mandiri to carry out murabahah financing accounting in accordance with SAK 102 related to recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure.
