Öz: Amaç: Bu çalışma karışık yapılı mimari temsilleri kişisel bilgi kuramı üzerinden okuyabilmek ve ifade biçimlerindeki kişiselliği açabilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın temel sorusu ise şu şekildedir: Karışık yapılı temsillerde hangi bilgi katmanları çakıştırılmakta, bu temsiller nasıl bir anlatı ve performatif an kurmaktadırlar? Yöntem: Mimari temsil ve onun geçmişten günümüze değişimi, dönüşümü irdelenmiştir. Bu dönüşüm bağlamında kişisel yaklaşımlara olanak tanıyan karışık yapılı temsiller ve bu temsillerin kuramsal zeminini beslediği düşünülen Polanyi'nin kişisel bilgi kuramı tartışılmıştır. Mimarlıkta kişisel bilginin bir görünümü olduğu hipotezine dayanan karışık yapılı temsillerin tasarım anlayışlarını çözümleyebilmek için özgün bir yapma biçimine sahip bir isim olduğu düşünülen Perry Kulper'ın çalışmalarından örnekler seçilmiş, bu örnekler ve anlatıları üzerinden karışık yapılı temsillerin nasıl ve neden üretildikleri irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler sonucunda bu türden temsillerin ne tür bir anlatı sunduğu tartışılmıştır. Bulgular: Seçili örnekler üzerinden karışık yapılı temsillerin ne türden bilgi katmanları içerdikleri ve bu katmanlar arasındaki ilişkilerin nasıl kurulduğuna dair kişisel yaklaşımlara değinilmiştir. Kulper'ın oluşturduğu teknikler üzerinden bakılan bu yaklaşımlar sonucunda karışık yapılı temsillerin ilişkisel bir sentez kurabilmek ve temsilin kavramsal yönünü kuvvetlendirebilmek adına performatif birer düşünme ve ifade aracı oldukları ifade edilmiştir. Sonuç: Karışık yapılı temsiller tasarım ve temsil bilgisi ile kişisel bilginin iç içe geçmesini sağlayabilen ve bu anlamda hem teknik hem de mekânsal veriye dair katmanlar içerebilen temsillerdir. Bir söylem içermeleri dolayısıyla da temsili öznel ve performatif kılmaya olanak verebilirler. Karışık yapılı temsiller bağlamında kurulan tüm bu ilişki biçimleri ise mimarlık öğrencileri ya da mimarlığın kavramsal yönüyle ilgilenen tasarımcılar, araştırmacılar için oldukça zihin açıcı olabilir.
