El presente artículo tiene como Objetivo presentar los diferentes beneficios que pueden influir en el estado de salud los aprendices del SENA y desde la práctica regular de la Actividad física, fomentando una cultura de hábitos y estilos de vida saludables en los procesos formativos. El Método que se abordó para el desarrollo de este artículo estuvo centrado en la revisión crítica de la literatura científica sobre el tema de los beneficios de la práctica de la actividad física, incluyendo como términos de busca asociados estudiantes, salud y condición física, para tal fin se indagó en las bases de datos indexadas Google Académico, Science Direct, y Sports Discus, con un resultado de 26 artículos que se abordaron en el diseño del presente documento. Para ello se tomaron como Criterios de inclusión los siguientes aspectos: artículos en español e inglés publicados en los últimos cinco años, como Criterios de exclusión se plantearon los siguientes: literatura gris, artículos en otros idiomas, artículos de pago, y no se referenciarán los artículos en niños y enfermedades diferentes a las no transmisibles. El artículo se encuentra estructurado en cuatro partes centrales. En la primera parte se describe la importancia de la práctica regular de la Actividad física y su influencia en aspectos relacionados con la salud en enfermedades no transmisibles (ENT) en el trabajo. Luego se realiza un acercamiento a la forma cómo se comprende la relación entre la actividad física y el mejoramiento de la productividad laboral, así como su influencia en la prevención de enfermedades laborales. Posteriormente se presenta la relación con la dimensión social, autopercepción y concepción sobre el estado de felicidad. Se plantea la idea de sentirse bien consigo mismo y con los demás, en el fortalecimiento de la condición física para el mejoramiento de las cualidades físicas. Finalmente se explica la forma como la actividad física influye y aporta al enriquecimiento del proceso formativo y mejoramiento de la calidad de vida. Como Conclusión de la reflexión realizada, se presentan algunas ideas derivadas de la experiencia adelantada en programas de actividad física y su posible influencia en el desarrollo integral y en la productividad laboral de los aprendices SENA.
El sedentarismo es un factor crítico para el aumento de enfermedades no transmisibles (ENT), sin embargo, la implementación de programas de entrenamiento genera un valor positivo en la promoción de hábitos saludables en la población adulta, la atribución del entrenamiento concurrente conlleva a optimizar y fortalecer la salud del ser humano a nivel cardiorrespiratorio y locomotor. Objetivo: Conocer en qué proporción mejora la fuerza y la resistencia aeróbica con dos días seguidos a la semana de entrenamiento físico, durante el período trimestral de formación de 11 semanas y con un tiempo 60 a 70 minutos por sesión de entrenamiento, para determinar si el entrenamiento concurrente tiene influencia sobre el mejoramiento de la condición física en una población de estudiantes del Centro de Gestión Administrativa SENA con 46 estudiantes. Método: El tipo de estudio es cuantitativo, descriptivo y correlacional, para lo cual se tendrán en cuenta las variables de IMC (índice de masa corporal), edad, condición física y método de entrenamiento aplicado durante la intervención. Conclusión: La incidencia del entrenamiento concurrente es positiva en la condición física de la población a evaluar.
