The selective oxidation of aqueous ethanol solutions with air over two commercial 1.5 and 1 wt% Au/TiO2 catalysts was investigated in six stirred mini-autoclaves operated in parallel. The catalysts were characterised by various techniques including elemental analysis, N2 physisorption, X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Temperature, pressure, ethanol concentration, catalyst concentration and reaction time were varied in the batch experiments to study the reaction kinetics. It was possible to confirm the generally accepted mechanism of primary alcohol oxidation, in which acetaldehyde is a primary product of the oxidation that quickly undergoes further transformation to acetic acid. In presence of both acetic acid and ethanol the formation of ethyl acetate takes place until equilibrium conditions are reached. The high yields of acetic acid can be rationalised by the inhibited total oxidation of acetic acid under the applied reaction conditions. Improper storage of the gold catalysts in air exposed to light was found to lead to an irreversible change of the performance, which cannot be restored by means of recalcination. Sintering and blocking of surface sites by deposits were ruled out as possible causes for the deactivation
Metal foams may have applications in the field of catalytic supports, but the available manufacturing processes are too expensive for industrial use. The goal of the paper is to investigate and compare alternative cost-efficient manufacturing methods, aimed at producing open-cell aluminum foams for low-temperature catalytic applications. The explored process chains are 1) solid state bonding of stacked thin slices of closed cell foams; 2) the conventional method of sintering and dissolution of aluminum powders with space holder; 3) sintering and dissolution of recycled aluminum turning chips with space holder. The process chains and their main parameters are described in detail. The morphological properties of the produced open-cell foam samples, relevant to catalytic applications (cell size, hydraulic porosity, total porosity, surface to volume ratio), are measured and compared. Finally, their heat transfer properties are experimentally compared. The foams produced by the sintering and dissolution process exhibit the most favorable compromise among the goals of reducing the manufacturing cost, increasing the heat transfer coefficients, controlling the cell morphology.
Background & aim: Health is one of the basic values and needs of every human being and a right accepted in the divine schools and international documents, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Islamic Human Rights and the Universal Declaration of Health. Maintaining and promoting health is an individual, social, organizational and governmental responsibility and is one of the preconditions for achieving sustainable development. The aim of this study was to determine and design an optimal model for the development of health centers in the neighborhoods of Yasuj.
Methods:This was an analytical-analytical study conducted in Yasuj in 2019. The statistical population of this study included all patients referred to health centers affiliated to Yasuj University of Medical Sciences with 900 people using the sampling method. A simple accident based on Morgan's table, 200 of them were selected as a statistical sample by simple random method and completed the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test and regression coefficients, vasodilators and croscalovalis using statistical tests.
Results:According to the results obtained in order to design the model of nurses, midwives and people's attitudes, they had a significant effect on environmental health variables. Moreover, the variables of environmental health, nursing, midwifery had a significant effect on the nutritional variable and the variables of mental health and environmental health had a significant effect on the nutritional variable (p <0.05), other independent variables did not have a significant effect (0.05). Also, the results of the in-depth interview of the officials' view of the current situation of health centers have generally been considered weak and moderate, and in relation to the favorable situation regarding neighborhood health centers, it was generally believed that if the people of the neighborhood have more participation, Weak and moderate can be elevated to higher levels.
Conclusion:This article tried to determine the position and role of mental health in the process of neighborhood health centers and also use it to improve the quality of health centers and thus become a powerful tool to reduce the problems of neighborhood health centers.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
