Abstract. This article discusses the impacts of the implementation of a web system designed to assist the distribution of funds from the National Student Assistance Program (PNAES) among students at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Tocantins, Campus Porto Nacional -IFTO. The analysis started from the perspective of own system users (candidates aid) and the local committee of student assistance (responsible for the selection process). The research aims to present a reflection on the positive and negative aspects of the implementation of systems for use by low-income students. Resumo. This article aims to identify what features of social network Google+ offer possibilities of use in the school environment, as developers pedagogical use of collaborative learning. For this presents a theoretical study of the concepts involved and an analysis that sought to identify six features considered important for the construction of knowledge: delivering content, activities, evaluation mechanisms, monitoring, privacy, and moderation. The results indicate that the configuration of communities on Google+ is the most suitable option for the practice of educational activities and that the network, except for the possibility of teaching evaluation, displays all features considered important for the construction of knowledge.Resumo. O presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar quais recursos da rede social Google+ oferecem possibilidades de uso no ambiente escolar, como recurso pedagógico fomentador da aprendizagem colaborativa. Para isso apresenta um estudo teórico dos conceitos envolvidos e uma análise que buscou identificar seis recursos considerados importantes para a construção do conhecimento: disponibilização de conteúdo; de atividades; de mecanismos de avaliação; de monitoramento; de privacidade; e de moderação. Os resultados indicam que a configuração de comunidades no Google+ é a opção mais adequada para prática de atividades educacionais e ainda que a rede, com exceção da possibilidade de avaliação docente, apresenta todos os recursos considerados importantes para a construção do conhecimento.
This article aims to look for indicators to lead researches about the use of the social network Facebook in the educational process. Among the indicators, we tried to indentify how the network was set, as well as techniques, education level of the students and which are the conclusions of these researches about the use of Facebook on knowledge building. To do so, we made a research in three article index basis, looking for researches realized in the last two years. The results show that 71% of the researches about the potentiality of Facebook for learning used the questionnaire as a data collection tool; 50% of the researches concluded that the creation of Facebook groups is the option that better simulates a learning environment and 77% of them involved students with a degree. The methodologies and statistic tools used to lead the network studies were identified, as well as the average number of students involved, which varied according to the set adopted for Facebook. After reviewing these 26 researches, we found that the social network Facebook may help on teaching and learning within the formal education system, and it is a step ahead on the use of technologies on the teaching learning process.
O presente artigo trata-se de uma pesquisa sobre a educação ambiental e os desafios vivenciados pelos professores bacharéis em computação no curso de Licenciatura em Computação do Campus Porto Nacional do Instituto Federal do Tocantins – IFTO. Centrada no seguinte questionamento: Quais os desafios enfrentados pelos professores bacharéis na área de computação ao abordar a temática ambiental durante suas aulas? E foi estabelecido como objetivo geral verificar quais os desafios enfrentados pelos professores bacharéis na área de computação ao abordar a temática ambiental durante suas aulas. Com o presente estudo, foi possível verificar que professores bacharéis tem como desafio abordar a temática ambiental durante sua prática em sala de aula nas respectivas disciplinas em que atuam, pois encontram dificuldades devido às bases tecnológicas serem especificamente na área da computação
