Neste estudo propõe-se conhecer a dinâmica da vegetação de Cerrado e Floresta Estacional, no período de 2000 a 2017, na Área de Preservação Ambiental (APA) Lago de Palmas, utilizando-se imagens do satélite Landsat e o software livre Spring 5.5.3. Foram construídos dois mapas temáticos da área estudada para estimar, por meio de análise comparativa, o processo de substituição da vegetação nativa, utilizaram-se os métodos Maxver e Isoseg para as classes de cobertura da terra: Vegetação nativa – Mata densa, Vegetação nativa – Campo, Solo exposto e Curso hídrico, na correção e validação recorreram-se às imagens históricas do Google Earth Pro. Os resultados indicam que houve uma perda de 38,56% da vegetação nativa, o centro urbano expandiu em uma proporção de 14 vezes, cerca de 10.760,13 ha foram inundados pelo reservatório da usina do Lajeado, resultando a perda de terra, árvores e biodiversidade. Infere-se que a APA não cumpre o papel previsto na legislação ambiental, pois sua ocupação é feita de forma desordenada, não existe plano de manejo, os mapeamentos indicam uma sistemática substituição da vegetação nativa por massa d’água, áreas agrícolas e de urbanização.
O abacaxi (Ananas comosus L. Merril), pertence ao gênero Ananás, que é o mais importante da família Bromeliaceae. A variedade “Pérola” é a mais cultivada no Brasil, e sua polpa é rica em suco, saborosa, pouco ácida e de coloração branco ou amarelo pálido. O congelamento de produtos agrícolas, dentre eles as frutas, é um processo de transferência de calor, que pode ser mais rápido ou mais lento dependendo do tamanho da sua área superficial, a qual pode ser determinada para quantificar a energia gasta num processo de congelamento. O objetivo desse trabalho foi determinar a área superficial do abacaxi “Pérola” por meio do ajuste de curvas no software Python, visto que a área superficial é onde ocorre a troca térmica. Foram analisadas 15 amostras ao todo, nas quais coletamos as medidas de peso, altura, diâmetro e circunferência dos discos. Terminadas as medições, foi feita uma tabela relacionando peso, altura e área total de cada amostra, e em seguida os dados foram plotados no software Python a fim de encontrar qual a função que melhor adequa a curva aos dados obtidos usando o método das tentativas. A função que melhor se ajustou aos dados experimentais foi a cúbica 87,110p³ - 619,757p² + 1590,135p – 444,186, na qual o indivíduo substitui o “p” pelo peso do abacaxi e encontra a área superficial aproximada do fruto.
O trabalho apresentado debate a respeito dos principais limitadores que atuam como agentes que dificultam e minimizam a aprendizagem da temática Probabilidade no ensino médio. Inicialmente, descreve-se as habilidades e competências definidas para o ensino de Probabilidades segundo os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN). Em seguida, é apresentado uma pesquisa bibliográfica que demonstra a importância, juntamente com os obstáculos encontrados, para abordagem do tema. Realiza-se uma análise de estruturação e formulação de alguns problemas, destacando as situações que envolvem uma contextualização e interdisciplinaridade dos temos elencados. As considerações finais apontam limitadores relacionados à formação de professores, uso mecanizado de fórmulas e escolha de problemas sem contexto com a vivência dos alunos. Em caráter sugestivo, apresenta-se uma metodologia baseada na escolha de problemas que permite, de modo facilitador, o desenvolvimento do processo de ensino e aprendizagem da Probabilidade no ensino médio.
