Previous research has proven the influence between interest rates, inflation, exchange rate, trade balance, industrial production index on stock prices. By using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model approach and the 13 companies listed on the IDX, in this study, we will look deeper into the dynamics of long-term and short-term relationships for the aforementioned variables. The research period starts from January 2015 to December 2019, during which time there were many global upheavals that had a considerable impact on the Indonesian economy, through the ARDL model of interest rates, inflation, exchange rate, trade balance, industrial production index, and stock prices are proven to have long-term cointegration or move together in the long term. But not only in the long run, but these seven variables also have a dynamic short-term relationship that has a sufficient speed of adjustment towards equilibrium per month.
his study aims to: (1) to know and analyze the extent of volatility (vulnerability) of sharia banking industry in Indonesia in the face of competition (2) to know and analyze factors affecting vulnerability of sharia commercial banks; (3) to know and analyze the extent of sustainable development of sharia banking industry to Indonesia's economic development.The research conducted to measure the vulnerability (volatility) of proto folio of syariah bank using observation period 2015, and the data used is cross section data. The research design used in this research is quantitative research, using asset dimension (asset portfolio, liability portfolio, equity portfolio) and stressor (pressure, including: credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk).The activity plan of this research is: in the initial stage of conducting theoretical study related to the vulnerability related to banking especially BUS; The next step is to determine the asset and stressor dimensions associated with the BUS; Further determine the indicators related to assets and stressors; The next step performs calculations to determine the index of each BUS as well as the dimensions that affect the vulnerabilities faced by each BUS.Target expected outcomes can be generated from this research is: for the object of research (BUS) provide a solution for BUS to deal with and overcome the vulnerabilities encountered and policies that must be done. For policy makers, the results of this study are expected to provide input in decision-making and other policies.Measurement of vulnerability to be performed related to banking operations in the face of competition and the continuity of BUS in Indonesia. The outcomes of this study are expected to be included in Bank Indonesia journals, the selection of this journal is based on studies conducted in the banking sector, especially BUS in Indonesia.
The concept of business integration putting Human Resource (HR) as major capital to support company’s competitive advantage ability. Therefore in the current practice, effectiveness of the talent development role is a major concern for HR practitioners. On the other hand, competency mapping plays a significant and positive effect on the implementation of talent development strategy. The effectiveness of talent development can be achieved if the company/ organization can implement competency mapping program in order to determine the composition and measurement estimation of the company's HR quality. Implications of the talent development has significant and comprehensively affect the escalation of employee’s competency and employee’s productivity respectively. In addition, the escalation of employee’s competency and employee’s productivity will eventually positive effect on corporate performance.In general, this research focusing on mining contractor company in Indonesia shows that the result in line with the explanation above. There is a significant and positive relation among competency mapping, talent development, employee competeny, employee productivity and corporate performance. The role of competency mapping and talent development is not just for employee development, but in wider point of view this is a strategic goal to achieved business integration based on HR approach. The main implications from this research is shows that talent development is the solution for the company’s expectation related with the HR/ manpower qualities.Finally, the effectiveness of the role of competency mapping and talent development can be achieved if the Company (through corporate management) is committed to support its implementation. Business integration requires participation from all organization member, including HR pratitioners, employees and corporate management in order to achieve a sustainable advantage and synergy.Keywords : human resources (HR), competency mapping, talent development, employee competency, employee productivity, corporate performance
Demographic changes that occur in many developing countries have an impact on all components in a country's economy, as well as this is happening in Indonesia. Uncontrolled demographic changes will certainly have an impact on the country's economic conditions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which demographic changes have an impact on economic growth and the factors that influence it.This research is a quantitative descriptive study that attempts to analyze the impact of demographic changes on economic growth. The variables used are economic growth, income per capita, population growth, the ratio of workers to total population, and life expectancy of the community. The analytical model used is a reflection of the Bloom Williamson, and Yu model; Higgins and Wiiliamson, with the main theory being the Solow-Swan Model. Using time series data for 19 years, and panel data for 9 years with 13 selected provinces in Indonesia.The results showed that: for the multiple regression model, the variable life expectancy and the ratio of population workers had a significant positive effect on economic growth for the entire model used, while population growth had a negative effect on economic growth. As for the panel data model per province, worker growth, income per capita, population growth and old and young age have an effect on economic growth, but the ratio of population employment and the ratio of workers has a negative effect on economic growth Abstrak Perubahan demografis yang terjadi di banyak negara berkembang berdampak pada semua komponen dalam ekonomi suatu negara, dan ini juga terjadi di Indonesia. Perubahan demografis yang tidak terkendali tentu akan berdampak pada kondisi ekonomi negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana perubahan demografis berdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang berupaya menganalisis dampak perubahan demografis terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Variabel yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi, pendapatan per kapita, pertumbuhan populasi, rasio pekerja terhadap total populasi, dan harapan hidup masyarakat. Model analitik yang digunakan adalah refleksi dari Bloom Williamson, dan model Yu; Higgins dan Wiiliamson, dengan teori utama adalah Solow-Swan Model. Menggunakan data deret waktu selama 19 tahun, dan data panel selama 9 tahun dengan 13 provinsi terpilih di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: untuk model regresi berganda, variabel usia harapan hidup dan rasio pekerja populasi memiliki efek positif yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi untuk seluruh model yang digunakan, sedangkan pertumbuhan populasi memiliki efek negatif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sedangkan untuk model panel data per provinsi, pertumbuhan pekerja, pendapatan per kapita, pertumbuhan populasi dan usia tua dan muda memiliki efek pada pertumbuhan ekonomi, tetapi rasio lapangan kerja penduduk dan rasio pekerja memiliki efek negatif pada pertumbuhan ekonomi.
