INHALT Der Leichtbau und die Crash-Sicherheit im Passagiertransport, wie etwa bei Schienen- und Fahrzeugbau nehmen stetig an Bedeutung zu. Besonders bei neuartigen Antrieben mit Elektromotor zeigen sich neue Sicherheitsanforderungen beispielsweise für den Batterieschutz. Daher sind Untersuchungen zur Entwicklung von leichten Crash-Energie-Absorbern von großer Relevanz. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden deshalb sechs verschiedene Crash-Wirkprinzipien experimentell untersucht und ausgewertet. Bei fünf davon erfolgte die Konzeption in Faserverbundbauweise sowie die Variation bezüglich verschiedener Laminataufbauten. Als Referenz-Wirkprinzip diente das duktile Versagen eines Leichtmetalls (Aluminium). Die Prüfung fand mittels Hochgeschwindigkeitsdruckversuchen an Crash-Rohren statt. Nach Auswertung und Gegenüberstellung der Ergebnisse anhand des Kriteriums der spezifischen Energieabsorption (SEA) zeigten sich deutliche Vorteile bei Crash-Rohren mit einem Inversions-Mechanismus.
