STRESZCZENIEWstęp. Schorzenia nowotworowe wśród zachorowań u dzieci stanowią grupę ponad 200 różnych jednostek nowotworowych. Najliczniejszą grupę stanowią białaczki, wśród których ostra białaczka limfoblastyczna występuje najczęściej. Towarzyszenie na co dzień choremu dziecku jest dla rodziców bardzo ciężkim przeżyciem, wykazują się przy tym ogromnym zrozumieniem, wrażliwością i empatią, pomimo że do samego końca nie można przewidzieć rezultatów leczenia. Poczucie stresu i lęk rodziców dotkniętych chorobą ich dziecka towarzyszą im przez cały etap leczenia oraz zwykle do końca życia. Cel. Celem pracy było określenie poziomu stresu i lęku rodziców dzieci z ostrą białaczką limfoblastyczną. Materiał i metody. Metodą badawczą był sondaż diagnostyczny. Narzędziem badawczym był anonimowy kwestionariusz ankiety oraz Kwestionariusz Oceny Stresu. Badaniem objęto 100 rodziców (75 matek i 25 ojców) dzieci z ostrą białaczką limfoblastyczną leczących się w Wojewódzkim Specjalistycznym Szpitalu Dziecięcym im. Władysława Buszkowskiego w Kielcach na Oddziale Onkologii i Hematologii Dziecięcej. Wyniki. Poczucie zagrożenia było nieznacznie wyższe wśród mężczyzn niż wśród kobiet oraz wśród rodziców młodszych. Z powodu choroby dziecka z pracy rezygnowały częściej kobiety niż mężczyźni. Z porady psychologa podczas choroby dziecka korzystało 22% rodziców. Najbardziej na pogłębienie się lęku o dziecko wpłynęła chemioterapia (60%). Z pracy z powodu choroby dziecka rezygnowali częściej rodzice, którzy odczuwali silny lęk o życie dziecka (61,1%). Wnioski. Rodzice postrzegają zachorowanie ich dziecka najczę-ściej jako wyzwanie oraz jako zagrożenie. Zachorowanie dziecka na nowotwór wywołuje wśród rodziców ogromne poczucie lęku. Rodzice dzieci onkologicznych w różny sposób próbują radzić sobie ze stresem.SŁOWA KLUCZOWE: stres, lęk, rodzice, dzieci, białaczka. ABSTRACT Introduction.Cancerous diseases constitute a group of over 200 various cancerous morbid entities. The most plentiful group are cases of leukaemia, where acute lymphoblastic leukaemia occur most frequently. Attending an ailing child on an every-day basis is an extremely hard experience for the parents who at the same time show enormous understanding, sensitivity and empathy, even though results of treatment cannot be foreseen up to the very end. A feeling of stress and fear which the sick child's parents experience accompanies them throughout the entire process of treatment, and usually till their dying day. Aim. The aim of the research was to defi ne the level of stress and fear accompanying parents of children suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Material and methods. A diagnostic survey was a research method. The research instrument consisted in an anonymous survey questionnaire and a standardised questionnaire -Stress Assessment Questionnaire developed by K. Wrześniewski, A. Jakubowska-Winecka and D.
