ResumoEste estudo teve como objetivo estudar a relação entre criatividade, inteligência e autoconceito em alunos bilíngües e monolíngües. Participaram deste estudo 269 alunos, do gênero masculino e feminino, adolescentes e adultos, de uma instituição particular de ensino de língua inglesa, localizada em Brasília. Os instrumentos utilizados foram o Teste Torrance de Pensamento Criativo -TTCT, Teste Não-Verbal de Raciocínio para Adultos -TNVRA e Escala Fatorial de Autoconceito -EFA. Os alunos bilíngües apresentaram escores superiores nas medidas de criatividade verbal e figurativa e de inteligência quando comparados aos alunos monolíngües. Os resultados indicaram, ainda, que os alunos do gênero masculino apresentaram escores superiores aos do gênero feminino apenas na medida de originalidade verbal. Não foram observadas diferenças entre adolescentes e adultos em relação à criatividade, inteligência e autoconceito. Foi observada uma correlação positiva entre criatividade e autoconceito para alunos bilíngües.Palavras-chave: Criatividade; Inteligência; Autoconceito; Bilingüismo. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MONOLINGUALS AND BILINGUALS' CREATIVITY, INTELLIGENCE, AND SELF-CONCEPT AbstractThis study aimed at analyzing the relationship between creativity, intelligence and self-concept with bilingual and monolingual students. The study had the participation of 269 students, male and female, adolescents and adults from a private English Binational Center in Brasília. The instruments used included the Torrance Test -TTCT, the TNVRA, a Non-Verbal Intelligence Test, and a Self-concept Factorial Scale -EFA. Higher scores in verbal and figural creativity and intelligence were obtained by bilingual students when compared to monlingual students. The results also indicated that male sytudents presented higher scores than female students in verbal originality measure. No differences were observed between adolescents and adults concerning creativity, intelligence and self-concept. A positive correlation was observed between creativity and self-concept for bilingual students.
