A Parada Cardiorrespiratória (PCR) é definida como uma situação de emergência, na qual o sujeito apresenta uma cessação súbita e inesperada do pulso arterial e respiração, sendo essas condições vitais ao ser humano. A interrupção dessas funções, se não identificadas e tratadas, desencadeia danos celulares e neurológicos irreversíveis, ou a própria morte da vítima caso as medidas adequadas não sejam tomadas em tempo hábil. Sabe-se que a equipe de enfermagem compõe a maior parte dos profissionais de saúde de uma unidade hospitalar, sendo esse o profissional que fica mais à beira do leito do paciente. Neste sentido a expressão deste profissional na percepção e assistência a um paciente vítima de PCR é indiscutivelmente relevante. Objetivou identificar os principais fatores que interferem na assistência de qualidade da RCP na percepção dos enfermeiros em um Hospital de Urgência e Emergência. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa de campo, qualiquantitativa do tipo transversal, descritiva. Realizada em um hospital de referência em urgência e emergência localizado no município de Cacoal/RO. Os resultados obtidos apresentaram as diversas dificuldades que a equipe de enfermagem enfrentam durante a realização da RCP, sendo estes, a falta de relação harmoniosa com a equipe 92,3%, o estresse pessoal 89,7%, estresse interpessoal (entre os membros da equipe) 56,4%, o baixo número de profissionais (menor que 6) durante a RCP 77,0%, as condições do ambiente (espaço, acomodação, ambiente de trabalho) 61,5%, a falta de familiarização com os equipamentos (carrinho de parada, desfibrilador) 100%, falta de materiais e/ou falha de equipamento 100% e, a presença de algum familiar 84,6%. O presente estudo evidenciou os principais fatores que influenciaram negativamente a qualidade da RCP, além de reconhecer os fatores que influenciavam positivamente na percepção dos enfermeiros.
