Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat yaitu mencerminkan perilaku individu yang senantiasa menjaga dan memelihara kesehatan sehingga individu maupun orang-orang yang ada disekitarnya dapat mengelola kesehatannya sendiri agar terhindar dari berbagai penyakit salah satunya covid-19 agar mencapai derajat kesehatan optimal. Seluruh siswa disekolah diharapkan agar menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dilingkungan institusi pendidikan. Beberapa tolak ukur dari pengaruh penerapan atau tidaknya perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat diantara lain tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap seseorang. Oleh karena itu, fenomena ini perlu dijadikan tolak ukur untuk melakukan penelitian untuk memperoleh hasil tentang hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap siswa terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat selama masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian ini berkorelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 215 siswa. Pengambillan data menggunakan alat kuisioner dan pengolahan data menggunakan uji spearman rank. Dari survei, didapatkan hasil 90 siswa (41,3%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik, 140 siswa (64,7%) mempunyai sikap yang negatif dan 98 siswa (45,0%) memiliki perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dalam kategori cukup dalam masa pandemi covid-19. Hasil bivariat tingkat pengetahuan menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan (p value 0,007) dengan korelasi positif yaitu 0,184 yang berarti korelasi menunjukkan keeratan lemah dimana semakin baik tingkat pengetahuan maka penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat akan meningkat. Sementara itu, hasil bivariat sikap menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan signifikan (p value 0,424) terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di SMPN 1 Geneng. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat meneliti faktor yang belum pernah diteliti yaitu, pendidikan, umur, fasilitas kesehatan, guru, dan petugas kesehatan.
