We propose a new tool, named DSGen, a distributed synthetic network traffic generation system. It is designed for network experimental in off-line environments. Since the experimental environment has some detective points compared with on-line one in the context of network background traffic and contention for servers' resource with other real users, a complementary approach that designs a system has ability to generate background traffic, emulate Internet users to create request to servers which will be stand alone just waiting for the experiment to be performed. And there is competition between system and experimental process for server resource. Then it will similar as the real one.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
