A adubação orgânica do milho crioulo com resíduos agropecuários pode aumentar a produtividade e a sustentabilidade de propriedades de agricultores familiares. A cafeicultura e a avicultura geram grande quantidade de resíduos com potencial para contribuir na poluição ambiental, no entanto, o uso desses resíduos como fontes de adubos orgânicos pode mitigar os impactos ambientais dessas atividades. Além disso, associar a adubação orgânica com a inoculação com Azospirillum brasilense pode reduzir a necessidade de aplicação de fertilizantes nitrogenados. O experimento foi instalado em Monte Carmelo-MG cujo objetivo foi avaliar o efeito de adubos orgânicos provenientes da mistura de casca de café e cama de peru sobre o desenvolvimento vegetativo de milho crioulo, bem como, a influência da inoculação das sementes com A. brasilense. O delineamento utilizado foi em blocos casualizados, em arranjo fatorial (2x7) com três repetições, tendo como fatores a inoculação das sementes com A. brasilense (com e sem inoculação) e sete adubos orgânicos proveniente da mistura de diferentes proporções de casca de café e cama de peru. Verificou-se que as plantas de milho apresentaram maior desenvolvimento vegetativo quando submetidas a adubos compostos pela mistura dos resíduos. A adubação orgânica promove maior desenvolvimento vegetativo do milho em comparação com a adubação mineral. A inoculação com A. brasilense apresenta maior eficiência quando associada à adubação orgânica.
