Novel polyimide-g-Fe 2 O 3 hybrid nanocomposite films (PI/g-Fe 2 O 3 ) has been developed from the poly (amic acid) salt of oxydianiline with different weight percentages (5, 10, 15 wt %) of g-Fe 2 O 3 using tetrahydrofuran (THF) and N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) as aprotic solvents. The prepared polyimide-g-Fe 2 O 3 nanocomposite films were characterized for their structure, morphology, and thermal behavior employing Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron micrograph (SEM), transmission electron micrograph (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD),
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
