O objetivo foi comparar híbridos de milho comerciais e pré-comerciais em baixa altitude na segunda safra no extremo oeste do Estado do Paraná. Para isso, foram instalados experimentos sem irrigação suplementar em fevereiro, com 30 híbridos transgênicos e convencionais na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná -Câmpus Santa Helena a 258 metros de altitude nos anos de 2019 e 2020. Foi utilizado o delineamento em blocos casualizados com quatro repetições e parcelas com quatro linhas de cinco metros. O espaçamento foi de 0,50 m entre fileiras e a população de 60 mil plantas/ha. Em 2019, o grupo de híbridos com melhor desempenho apresentaram a produtividade de 5.502 kg ha -1 para o PZ 226 a 4.048 kg ha -1 e o grupo de híbridos que apresentaram produtividades intermediárias variaram de 3.911 kg ha -1 para o PZ 216 a 3.038 kg ha -1 .
